Finished the 1929er
The 1929er is finished I snapped these photos yesterday at a pavilion in front of the missouri river. It rides amazing, super stiff where it needs to be, but the wooden rims soak the road vibration beautifully. The forks were hand built along with the handlebars. They are tig welded 4130 and chrome plated. The whole bike weighs around 26 LBS with no ti or carbon parts on it . Those are buffalo head nickels brazed to the top tube and fork crown. The one on the top tube is a 1929 nickel. I hope to have it at the NAHBS bicycle show in Austin TX in febuary
Thank you for visiting my blog. The purpose of this is to share what we are up to and where we have been. Along with anything else that we feel is interesting.
